Hari is a self-made, forward-thinking businessman who is always thinking about ways to grow his business while positively influencing local communities. As the president and CEO of HKB Investment Group, Hari leads his team towards business developments that will positively impact the Atlanta metropolitan area. Hari’s professional journey started in India where he became experienced in medical equipment retail. In the United States, he capitalized on his entrepreneurial skills and built a thriving business in the gaming industry. His investments are now centered in the hospitality and medical fields. As a leader, Hari values robust work ethics and strong work-life balance culture. Central to his vision of HKB’s corporate culture is the idea that “everyone grows together:” business, employees, and the community. Hari is an expert in strategic capital investment. His mission is to build a legacy that will inspire future generations to believe in their dreams and in the power of hard work.

Prem started his career in the hospitality industry when he was 11 years old. Due to his experience in the field, Prem is well versed in every operational role in the hospitality industry. Having the exposure of working as a front desk agent, as well as in housekeeping, and hotel management, Prem is an expert in providing high-quality services and guaranteeing customer satisfaction. With his extensive experience and educational background in business administration, Prem’s career progressed towards the strategic management of properties and investments. In the past 10 years, Prem has successfully managed over 2000 rooms across multiple brands in Hospitality Industry. He is passionate about business strategy, exceptional customer service, urban development, and aviation (he is a Certified Flight Instructor).

Jaynil started his journey with HKB Group in 2017. Jaynil’s dedication and his exceptional ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment were rewarded through an accelerated career path. His career quickly progressed toward positions of leadership that leveraged Jaynil’s experience and knowledge in financial matters. Jaynil graduated from Georgia State University with a double major in Accounting and Finance. As a Corporate Controller, Jaynil leads accounting for HKB and assist in Risk Analysis, Insurance, as well as Acquisitions. He is passionate about ensuring that accounts are properly reconciled and that the financial structure of the business meets exceptional hospitality standards.

Sanket serves as VP of Operations for HKB and has over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry. His professional journey started in the field of technology. Mr. Patel worked as an IT professional for multiple years and held various positions building corporate infrastructure.

He joined HKB in 2019 overseeing midscale properties and became a VP of Operations in January of 2021. He is responsible for overseeing Hotels Operations, Hotel Performance, Brand QA & Ratings, Brand Compliance, Renovation, Risk Analysis & Mitigation and Sales efforts. Mr. Patel is passionate about providing exceptional customer service while also ensuring properties operate efficiently and profitably.

Mohammed Sadrul Amin (Sadrul) has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry. His career began at the Hilton Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, N.J. He started with an entry level position while attending school and made his way up to F&B Manager and Assistant Manager. After his graduation he joined ACCOR (French Hotel chain) as a Director of Operations managing 30-40 Motel 6 properties. He spent most of his career with Accor North America, a worldwide leader of hotel operators. Through his wide range of experiences and desire to improve the hotel guest experience, he has developed an astute business acumen for the industry. Mr. Amin has a keen sense of financial management, creation of capital growth strategies, human resource management, renovation and re-engineering, as well as quality control and the management of multi-unit facilities.

Milene Ortega has a Ph.D. in Communication, with an emphasis in leadership and conflict management, an M.A. in Communication Studies, an MBA in Human Resources Management with an emphasis in corporate learning, and a B.A. in Linguistics. She has over 15 years of experience in learning and development both in the corporate and academic sectors. She has extensive experience planning, developing, and facilitating training for professional groups of various industries, in addition to supporting talent development of leaders and executives both in the United States and abroad. Her professional mission as Director of HR and Talent Development at HKB is to support professional careers and help teams establish a more harmonious, effective, and enjoyable work climate.

Lacy is a highly motivated sales professional who implements, executes and follows up on sales policies and practices to set her hotels up, for financial success. She is a trusted advisor to hotel ownership, offering market insight and analysis to help owners understand and improve revenue. Lacy has held a number of multi-hotel sales and marketing leadership positions throughout her 20 years in the hospitality industry. She has led the revenue teams with multiple branded properties such as Hyatt, Marriott, IHG, Best Western, Wyndham, and Choice Hotels providing a plethora of knowledge of different brand standards and strategies to help drive top line revenue.

She leads our revenue initiatives including sales, marketing, revenue management, and e-commerce; Directly working with the Operations team to increase market share to ensure top revenue performance for all of HKB Hotel Groups Managed Hotels.

On a more personal side, Lacy is an avid beach enthusiast who loves spending time with her daughters and fur baby.

A hotelier with over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Taqua Scoon brings a level head and balanced perspective to the HKB team. Prior to joining this results-driven team, Taqua served in a multitude of hotel capacities, including collaborative and supervisory roles with Hilton hotels. This multi-level experience and knowledge has allowed her to lead her teams to achieving several industry-recognized awards and high guest satisfaction. Throughout her career she has made it her mandate to serve in her earned capacity at a standard that is beyond reproach. Daily, she aims to maintain a high-spirited company culture that is inspired by the lessons learned throughout her career, as well as her multicultural roots.

Deepak Dahal started his professional journey as an accountant with YATEEM Group in DUBAI from 2008 until 2015. He has worked as an accountant in the United States since 2015. He has a bachelor’s degree in business studies from Tribhuwan University in Nepal. He is proud to be a hardworking, honest, and loyal employee. He is a goal-oriented professional who thrives in a team setting. In the past he was a business owner and therefore has first-hand experience in business administration, marketing, and sales. He is a sports fan and loves watching soccer games.
